Welcome to my Heart of Italy tour scrapbook!
After a planned trip to Paris fell through, I found myself traveling to Italy (this time, solo) for the 2nd time in 2 years (and my 2nd Rick Steves' tour!). Since I had dutifully thrown a coin in Trevi Fountain in Rome and rubbed the snout of the wild boar statue in Florence, I had expected to be back someday, just not so soon. Not that returning to Italy is a hardship by any stretch of the imagination!
Join me as I discover new sights (and re-visit some old favorites) in this wonderful country...
